Clairvoyant Fugitive from Prometheus Labs, Inc.


Dominance: Charlotte learned at a young age that being able to communicate with her mind wasn't the limit to her abilities. She realized that she had the power to force her will upon others. This power terrified her at first, but after the Event and her escape from Prometheus Labs, Inc. she realized it was an indispensable tool. For an Action Point, she rolls her Magic (Dominance) against the target's Mental Defense. If successful, she can force the target to act on its next turn. Staying in the target's mind takes effort and the exact cost is left to GM discretion. While in control of a target, she can only act in self defense. If Charlotte is in the mind of someone when they die, she takes one Mind Damage.


Telepathy: Charlotte was born with the gift of telepathy. Communicating with both people and animals with her mind comes naturally to her. As a side-effect of this ability, she can sometimes sense the presence of living things even if she can't see them. Crowds or strong living presences can completely overwhelm her senses, and so she tends to shy away from large groups.
Prometheus Labs Rat: Growing up in a laboratory facility as a human test subject doesn't exactly do wonders for your mental health. Charlotte has an immediate aversion and intense fear of anything related to biological research. Syringes, lab equipment, rubber gloves, you name it. Despite her fear, she is very knowledgeable of medical procedures due to the many years spent at the facility.
Dead Silence: While in the custody of Prometheus Labs, Inc., Charlotte's brain was pricked and probed for science. Unfortunately, an error made during an operation when she was five years old rendered her completely incapable of audible speech. This sometimes makes it difficult for her to communicate with others, especially those she can't communicate telepathically with. Her lack of voice has subconsciously made her become silent in more ways than one. She is very good at staying hidden or sneaking about when she puts her mind to it.

Personal History

Charlotte was a guinea pig from birth. Because of Charlotte's natural abilities, her mother "donated" her to Prometheus Labs, Inc. for $10,000. Born with psychic abilities, Charlotte was a prime subject for research involving mental defense technology. Prometheus Labs, Inc. used her for many years as a human test subject.

When she was five years old, Charlotte lost the use of her voice. It happened during one of the many medical procedures she underwent. There was an incorrect digit on the paperwork, or a malfunction on a machine, or maybe it was just simple human error. Regardless of the cause, something went wrong during the operation, and it permanently damaged Charlotte's brain.

On the day of the Event, the facility where Charlotte had spent her entire life was completely destroyed. She miraculously survived and awoke within a sea of rubble and debris. Since then she has scavenged to survive in this new, unpredictable world.

Several months ago, Charlotte met up with and joined the Convoy. Ever since then, she has been travelling with them across North America in search of the Daevite book.



Charlotte is approximately eighteen years old. She has dark brown shoulder-length hair and brilliant blue eyes. She is of slight build and stands about 5'4".


Charlotte's method of communication has two modes, broadcast and directed. Broadcast functions like normal speech, and can be detected by any hearing creature in the area of effect, and is denoted with <these symbols.> Directed is discrete communication aimed at one person. The target must accept the communication before it becomes two way, unless she uses her power. Directed communication is denoted by ~these symbols.~
