Dahlia Morningray

Name

Dahlia Morningray

Concept

Broken Soul

Power

Affliction: As before The Event, Dahlia's main power is to afflict her targets with curses. These curses have a range of effects, including but not limited to; weakening, slowing, confusing and blinding.
Destruction: By channeling demonic energies, Dahlia can focus the very fires of hell upon her enemies. She can use this power from any range, as long as the target is within line of sight.
Demonology: Dahlia allows her body to become a vessel for a stronger being, becoming much faster and stronger. She cannot use her other powers in this form, and can only attack with melee. This power is automatically activated when she reaches 0 body.

Aspects

Soul Torn Asunder: To survive the mess that happened in her location, Dahlia caved, and traded a part of her soul to unlock her full potential. Unfortunately, she's having a bit of buyers remorse. She carries this piece of her soul in the stone she uses as a false eye.
Power Overwhelming: Dahlia wasn't fully ready to unlock her raw potential, and her frail human form took a heavy beating when she suddenly did. She is physically weakened after using her Destruction power.
Soul Stone: The part of Dahlia's soul contained in her false eye keeps her functionally immortal. When she reaches 0 body, however she can only attack with melee and use her Demonology power. She will continue to attack until her stone is destroyed.

Personal History

Dahila Morningray was the daughter of two wealthy Canadians before The Event, and a mage of little power. She spent time in The Library, honing her craft of demonology and curses, and occasionally helping out The Serpent's Hand. Just before The Event, she was making a solo road trip across the United States, finding herself in Spokane, Washington when things went wrong.
Frightened of what might happen to her, she made a pact with a demon, giving it her soul and body in exchange for her true powers to be fully unlocked. In doing so, she also gave the bodies of the city's people as vessels for other demons to use. She ruled the town, keeping the people content by making them forget the world had ended, until The Convoy rolled through, finally putting an end to her trickery.
