Dominik Kaczmarek

Player Name

Dominik Kaczmarek

Taciturn doctor

Laughter is best medicine: Dominik subconsciously puts those around him in a good mood, making them more suggestible and putting them off-guard. For an action point, he can put a target in a friendly, happy state, giving them a passive -2 penalty to Mental Defense for the remainder of a scene. This only works on targets with human or near-human thought processes, and only once per target per scene.

Everybody calm the fuck down: Dominik is very good at keeping his cool. He is easily frustrated by those who are not.
Games and Puzzles: Dominik has an intense interest in puzzles and games and has a knack for things like that, but has a tendency to become preoccupied trying to figure out trivial information.
Youthful Indiscretions: Dominik used to get into a lot of fights, and was good at it. His injuries are rather visible, and he'll occasionally have flareups that interfere with his mobility. His sense of balance is still excellent, and he's always aware of where everyone's hands and feet are.

Personal History

Born in Krakow, Poland to blue-collar parents in 1980. Dabbled in street gangs a bit, and got into fights often enough to give him a few lasting injuries. His talent got him into the ring at a few local bars several times, but he ultimately had to refrain from fighting professionally for any significant duration due to a few somewhat more serious injuries led his doctor to suggest that he not get into fights on a regular basis.

After taking a rather heavy hit to the head, Dominik fell to the ground… and when he stood up, his opponent was smiling. As was everyone else. This irritated Dominik, and happy people have never failed to irritate him since.

After deciding that he wanted to become a doctor, Dominik just barely managed to pay his way through med school through a combination of financial aid, unskilled labor, and shady loans. He'd set up his practice two and a half years before the Event in Krakow, although he was in _______ City to visit a relative when it hit.

He's stayed in the city since then, having kept himself alive by bartering medical attention for goods and services, but [reason he joins the convoy].

Age 32; 5'7", light-skinned, reddish-brown buzz cut. Various light scars and old injuries cover most of his upper body, and his nose is crooked. Wheezes just a little when he talks, but is energetic nonetheless. Somewhat muscular.

About €8000 in debt to the Polish mafia, to the extent that the terms "€8000" and "Polish mafia" still mean anything.
