Brawler: A successful melee roll by Finn will passively add a bonus of one to the next roll (only if it is another Melee roll). This effect is cumulative up to a maximum of +2 to Melee.
He may also use two AP to enter the Berserk state, which gives him an additional +2 to Melee but causes him to auto-fail any defense rolls (In the case of an instant-kill attempt, only the first attack is an auto-fail. The rest are rolled with normal pdef).


Independent: Finn has always been a very self-sufficient person, having lived on his own even before The Event. He prefers not to ask for help with any particularly personal problems, yet will readily volunteer to help others with theirs.
Brash: Finn makes his decisions quickly and often based on gut instinct, and will follow through even if he realizes halfway that he made the wrong decision.
Empty Now: Though he has lost the knowledge that he possessed when Enkal was paired with him, brief memories sometimes flare up from his time with her. As a result, he can occasionally demonstrate knowledge of subjects that Enkal has shown herself to be proficient in.

[T] Elder's Blessing: The Elder of the Haida has given you his thanks and blessing for killing Ta'xet. This can be used once to force a (0,0,0,+) on Mental or Physical Defense.
[T] Bug Slayer: This aspect can be tagged to allow a (+,+,+,0) to Survival or Perception when searching for a monster in the night.
[T] Defender of the World: Can be tagged to allow a (+,+,+,0) to any defense roll versus a horror.

Personal History

Finn was orphaned at the age of 12 and went through the foster care system for roughly two years before he decided to run away and make his own way in the world. Living on the streets, he got in many fights and learned to fend for himself and trust no one. He went on like this for years, sometimes being caught by the authorities and thrown back into the foster care system or juvie for a short time before being released or escaping back to the streets. Shortly after The Event occurred, Finn was sleeping in an alley when a pair of brass knuckles crashed into the ground next to him, leaving a smoldering crater. Finn foolishly donned them, only to find that he could no longer remove them afterwards. Soon an ancient entity residing within the knuckles contacted Finn, calling itself Enkal. Enkal explained that he and Finn were now bound for life, so they had best learn to get along. Together, Finn and Enkal decided to make their way forward in a dangerous world.
