Frederick Heiden

Player Name

Heiden

Name

Dr. Frederick R. Heiden

Concept

Former Warden of the Djinn's Prison.

Power

Fatespinner: The Fates are dead. Dr. Heiden has assumed their mantle. He may spend an Action Point to grant an ally a single reroll, or doom a hostile target, forcing a -2 penalty to any roll.

Aspects

I Am Legion, For We Are Many: The bronze threading winding up and down Dr. Heiden's body contains a multitude of souls - many of the spirits that would have otherwise been consigned to oblivion along with their former home now reside with him. Not all of them are happy with this change of circumstance. They whisper to him constantly - some lies, some truths, some maddened screams begging for release, some a quiet, background sobbing that never ceases.
Hrafnkell's Scion: Dr. Heiden despises anything that represents itself as a deity - and those who profess themselves servants of a god or goddess. This hatred is etched upon his very soul, and to those metaphysically sensitive to such matters, is immediately apparent.
And Yet It Moves: Dr. Heiden's strange appearance is exacerbated when he is attacked - flesh and bone can be stripped from his body and he simply continues to move as if the muscles had never been torn away. Frederick cannot be healed by Medical checks, and is not rendered incapable of action at 0 Body.

Personal History

Dr. Heiden is a changed man, having spent countless ages in what used to be known as the Tamlin House. Modifications - mostly his own creations - adorn his body, and it was not so long ago according to his perception that he was stripped of his name and redesignated SCP-1312-067. Threadings of bronze crisscross his skin, embedded in ropy scars that have healed around the old incisions.
