Player Name

Hikaru Inoue

Former Marshal, Carter, & Dark Operative

Promethean Arm: Ms. Inoue's arm was designed with climbing, picking locks, and hacking in mind, but it's also ridged and strong when it needs to be. For an Action Point, Hikaru can gain a +3 to Subterfuge (Tradecraft) or Melee Weapons (Unarmed). Additionally, since her arm is artificial, corrosion, and heat resistant, she can handle harmful objects a little more safely than others.

Amputee: Hikaru lost her left arm at birth, but as the surviving twin she was never allowed to use this as an excuse or crutch. She has a bit of a complex about doing things without the help of others.
Escape or Die: As part of her original training, she was taught that the most important thing was to get information, and get out. As such she hasn't practised CQC much since training, Plan B usually being suicide.
In Organic: At this stage, Hikaru hasn't taken her arm off in over a year, and it's actually started to grow in with her body some how. While she could put it back on if it were removed, it's incredibly painful when it comes off, and can cause some blood loss.

Personal History

Hikaru and Akira were born conjoined twins, in Kyoto, Japan. They shared a arm, and a portion of a hip, and their parents decided the disability of missing a limb was much easier to deal with than being attached to a sibling. Unfortunately, Akira developed pertussis, and died when the twins were very young.
Her father was a wealthy man, having connections with the likes of Marshal, Carter, and Dark, and Prometheus Labs Inc. Wanting the best for his daughter, he used much of his money to make sure she had the best prosthesis possible. When Hikaru was finished growing, at about 15, her father had her fitted for an arm, almost indistinguishable from a regular human arm. Unfortunately soon after, both of Hikaru's parents were killed in some "gang related activities."
Unable to access her money until she was 18, she wasn't able to pay off the remainder for her expensive arm and it was taken back. Additionally, MC&D took her in as an errand girl. Seeing her physical potential as an infiltrator, they had her outfitted with the arm she uses now, and had her work off the outstanding debt. By the time she could get to her inheritance, she'd already gotten comfortable with her station, and stayed on as an employee and member.
When the Event happened, she was on assignment in Australia, getting some information on a Foundation facility there. She spent a lot of time alone, or hiding among the thralls of the CI who had taken over the Armed Forces in Sydney. Eventually something happened, and the CI presence was obliterated by some other group who quickly left the Sydney forces to rebuild. Hikaru took this chance to join with the people of Australia and try to make some kind of civilization. Soon after, much of the surviving civilians in the city were quickly evacuated to New Zealand without much explanation. Here, she split from her group as they waited for the US Navy to pick them up. She made her way to a MC&D safe-house on the Southern Island, only to find it full of bats and parrots. After narrowly escaping detection by the animals' caretakers she started to head towards warmer parts of the island.

Hikaru is approximately 5'5 and 135lbs. She has a distinct style when she's not trying to blend in, and is fairly good at turning scavenged clothes into a fashion statement of some kind. She's partial to fingerless glove, wedge boots, and a lot of dark eye make-up. Her body-type lends her to being a gender chameleon when she needs to be.
