Unleash: Jack gives in to the demon who is within him. His body is destroyed as the demon within him is released, and both he and the demon use this to kill any who oppose them. At the cost of 3 AP he gains +3 to Strength, Agility, Perception, Melee, Physical Defense, and Mental Defense. He also gains +4 to Body and Mind. This effect lasts for 2 combat turns, and at the end, Jack is returned to normal. His Body and Mind both drop to 1, and he takes a -3 penalty to all skills. He regains Body and Mind at the normal rate, and regains 1 skill point in all skills with each point of Mind he regains. He regains his final skill points one week after achieving full Mind. He is incapable of gaining or applying XP for the entirety of his recovery, including the session he uses this ability. If he uses this ability before fully recovering, he gains all bonuses as if activated when in full health. When the effect wears off 2 turns later, he permanently dies.


Paranoid Delusions: Jack has been tormented by demons for so long, he is constantly on edge. Demonic voices constantly whisper in his mind, twisting his thoughts and fueling his fears. He is very suspicious of new people, and it is very difficult to gain his trust. The people he does trust though, are his few bastions of sanity, so he is very defensive of those he does trust.
On a Sea of Loneliness: No one can comprehend what he has been through. He knows that his experiences are his own to suffer through, and so he rarely feel close to anyone else, or even cares. This apathy has left him uncaring of his own appearance, or attitude towards others, aside from the bare necessities.
Appearance Belays Intelligence: Jack spends a massive amount of time learning new things. One of the few things that can quiet the voices in his head is the pursuit of knowledge, as anything that can flood his mind and interrupt his thoughts is too much to allow the demons entrance.

Personal History

At the age of 14, when all other boys were learning how to cope with heir changing bodies, Jack began to hear voices. Believing these were just another part of growing up, he ignored them, refusing to tell anyone, as he was a social outcast and didn't want anymore attention than he already got. Over the next two years the voices became clearer, and he began to have odd urges to kill and maim. A year later, he did. After being arrested he unleashed, and slaughter all the police offer. Shunned by his family, and a criminal of the highest order, he went on the run. He learned to live off the land in his native forests of Oregon. 20 years passed, and after the Event, he returned to civilization, hoping to improve his chances for survival.
