Power

Dermal Osmosis: Styer has the ability to absorb a material through direct physical contact and temporarily replace muscle, bone and skin tissue with it while keeping original motor skills. For an Action Point he can absorb anything stone or harder for a +3 Physical Defense, Athletics, or Melee. Another Action Point may be spent to absorbing anything liquid or non-newtonian to slip through cracks and small spaces easily. Additionally, Styer may spend three Action Points to use a Instant Kill that will heal him for the amount of health the target had when the kill rolls start, provided he makes physical contact with the target. There is no bonus for "overhealing."

Aspects

Rough Talker: Styer is a hard guy to get along with because something about him can just rub people the wrong way. He tends to annoy people when he talks to them and he can't explain it, but sometimes people just don't like him. This usually makes people try to kill him before anybody else.
Anarchist: Styer doesn't do well when told what to do. He almost always goes against what he is told and will go out of his way to rebel against whatever he should be doing. The idea of causing chaos of any kind gives him the inspiration to keep doing so, avoiding any and all things that would cause him to be sensible.
Ladies Man: Styer can't control himself around women and becomes easily distracted when he sees one. He doesn't take it lightly when they are treated badly either. He likes to try and "defend their honor" and usually gets sidetracked when trying to do so. He also has trouble trying to do them harm.

Personal History

Patrick was born in Cobh, Ireland. As he grew, his step-father taught him to shoot and fight like he did in the Armed Forces. Patrick learned quickly and was inspired to join the Army when he was old enough. When Patrick went to sign up for recruitment, he was turned away due to his scrawny size and stature and returned home a disappointment. Years after that, Patrick left home and started doing odd jobs for people that needed things done, and some of these things Patrick understood needed to be kept secret. Through his time doing odd jobs, Patrick gained a nice reputation as a powerful asset to who ever hired him. Patrick was eventually hired by a bio-medical company who needed security detail and as a reward, he was promised something that would make him an even more powerful asset to them. The company gave him an experimental surgery, a surgery that placed microscopic synthetic nodes throughout his cell walls and eventually they replaced all his organic cells. Styer later quit working for them, and became a free lance mercenary once again.


After Action Report
Soon after the confusion of losing track of The Convoy in Livingston, Styer went back off on his own, almost a full circle to what he had done before meeting the convoy. He wandered for days on end, fighting monsters and men alike that made the mistake of taking on the man of many skins, remembering after a while why he sought out company in the first place. Life alone in this new world was entirely too lonely for someone like him, he needed people to talk to and argue with, it was just the way he liked to do things: with people.

After wandering around the north-east, living off of what he found in the rubble of houses and wreckage of civilization, he spotted a large complex in the middle of nowhere. People surrounded the outer wall as search lights circled through the windblown field that surrounded the buildings. Survivors had taken over the Lewisburg Penitentiary, a huge fortress filled with a community of people that looked out for one another, and Styer became part of that community as a protector of the people there. He stayed there with all of those people, serving under the newly appointed "Warden" as a guardian, or simply guard, helping to keep them all safe, the normal and paranormal alike.
