Player Name

Riel (pronounced : Rye-el)

Hawk Cultist

Bird of Prey: Riel has formed pacts with many deities, and has devoted his mortal form to serving them. Along with his already warped form, he can sacrifice 1 AP for either of the three:

  • Warping his fingers into talons for a +2 to melee
  • Strengthening his body, for a +2 to athletics or physical defense
  • Hardening his feathers until they are as sharp as knives for +3 to throwing

Hawk Eyed: Riel's eyes are inhumanly perceptual, this is not necessarily a boon, as sudden changes in lights are capable of stunning or temporarily blinding him

No birds of a feather here: Riel is wary of outsiders, and is easily startled, he much more prefers his solitude

Bound by the Pact: Riel must occasionally carry out the will of a Deity he has made a pact with to maintain his power and lessen the physical cost of it, this will is not always of his preference.

Personal History

Riel was raised in a small town ran by cultists. When he came of age he was chosen to seal a pact with Pahen, the cult's chosen deity of awareness and insight. After being bound to his current form and new found longevity, Riel spent many years studying the occult and its various rituals in his quest to become a deity himself. Riel received very little formal education, but when the Event occurred he took it as a sign to begin his quest anew.
