Sadler Matthews

Player Name

Dexanote

Name

Sadler Matthews

Concept

Vagabond attuned to vermin.

Power

Vermintide: Sadler carries the burden of a swarm of crawling things around him at all times.
This Power is treated as an Aspect, and may be Compelled at any time by any GM or player; if Compelled, Sadler may suffer vermin-related consequences. If a Player Compels Vermintide, they must spend an AP as if it was a normal Aspect.
Sadler gains one AP for every Compel he accepts, as if it was a normal Aspect.
However, if tagged for any relevant roll, it tags for +3, and may be tagged twice in a turn, once for +3 and once for a reroll, without +3.

Aspects

Apex Rodentia: He loves the smaller things, the things that follow him, as a sort of family. The rodents, in particular. They protect him, and he protects them.
King of Ants: Sadler's not quite the same as he was in the past at the Library. He's accepted the insects as a part of him; while they've stopped feeding on him, the damage they wrought remains riddled through his body.
Literal Bookworm: Sadler spent much of his time at the Library reading about the paranormal and just general natural sciences. While he does have some solid familiarity with the paranormal, his knowledge is very far from perfect and might even be completely wrong.

Personal History

Sadler ran away from home when he was 14. He was quite lonely, stealing food and living on the streets. One night, he was desperately lonesome, and wished on a shooting star for a friend. This was the moment that the Crawlers began to love him.

Preferring to work odd jobs here and there for sustenance, he lived on the streets for about 6 or 7 years, scraping a living together alone. He found the Library by chance, and found a place where people didn't shun him like the plague.

The crawling things stayed with him, though, and people took notice. When the Library closed, he was immediately captured by the Foundation. After spending several months inside Bio-Site 66, he was freed and joined Convoy.
