The Ghost


A somewhat addled ghost.


Ghoooooost: The ghost is a ghost. Being that, she has no solid mass or form, and cannot interact with the world physically without using someone else's body to do so. And turns out, she can do that. By spending an action point and rolling her Possession skill against an individual's MDef, she can attempt to possess them without their consent.

Unwillingly possessed individuals may attempt to roll MDef against her possession skill after 2 rounds of action, forcing her to use another Fate point to stay in control of them. If they succeed, she is forced out of their body.

Individuals may also passively let her possess their body with no resistance.

She can only possess human beings.

The ghost is non-physical, and as such she can both neither move physical objects on her own, or be touched by physical attacks. She can still take damage from magical and mental attacks, though, and in such case her Mind stat will be used as the Body stat. If she is all out of Mind, she "dies" and is dissipated. If she is possessing an individual, and the individual becomes incapacitated or unconscious, she will be forced from their body and lost a Mind point. If the body she is in dies, she will be forced from the body and reduced to incapacitated.


I don't quite remember…: The ghost's memories are pretty much kaput. She is suffering from a severe case of amnesia, perhaps bought upon by something traumatic. She does not remember her name or who she was or how she died, but does remember some things about her life- like her occupation.
Silent: The ghost can only speak to one person through simple telepathy at a time, or to multiple individuals with magical sensitivities. Otherwise, she must possess an individual to speak to a group. Animals are also able to sense her presence, automatically.
Poof!: Not being inhibited by physical restraints? Turns out it's great for getting around, as she can drift through walls, flit over long distances, and soar through the air.
Brainrape: The ghost really doesn't like possessing unwilling people. She equates the way they fight her possession as being akin to violating them, and it freaks her out.

Personal History

She's not really sure. She knows that she has not been a ghost for long, and died during the event. She also remembers being a rescue helicopter pilot, as her profession.


They're a ghost. Pretty cool, eh?
